The S&C DSTATCOM has been used in numerous renewable generation plants world-wide to assist the renewable generator in meeting the interconnect requirements for connection to the existing transmission grid. Australia has an extensive set of grid code requirements that must be met before new generation can be connected to the transmission grid. The S&C DSTATCOM will work with the Suzlon S88 2.1 MW wind turbines to allow the AGL Oakland Hills wind farm to meet the specific reactive compensation and voltage control requirements specified by this code.
