EcoGen 2010 is pleased to announce that Robert Hill, Chairman of The Australian Carbon Trust, will be delivering a keynote address on sustainable energy at the EcoGen 2010 clean energy conference, to be held from 5-8 September at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
EcoGen 2010 is set to be the clean energy event of the year, bringing together the highest levels of the clean energy industry, locally and internationally.
Robert Hill will be speaking between 8:20–10am on Day One of EcoGen 2010, 6 September.
Professor the Hon. Robert Hill has recently returned from the United States where he was the Permanent Representative to the United Nations for Australia (2006–2009).
He is Chairman of the Australian Carbon Trust, which will be based in Brisbane. He is currently the Adjunct Professor in Sustainability at the United States Studies Centre, Sydney University.

Prior to his appointment to the United Nations, Robert Hill served as a Senator for South Australia (1981 – 2006) and during his time in Federal Parliament was Minister for Defence (2001 – 2006) and Minister for the Environment and Heritage (1996 – 2001).
He attended the University of Adelaide (LLB, BA) and University of London (LLM).
