EcoGen 2010 is set to be the clean energy event of the year, bringing together the highest levels of the clean energy industry, locally and internationally.
Mr Morrison will be speaking between 1–2:30 on Day One of EcoGen 2010, 6 September.
Mr Morrison joined CLSA, an award winning brokerage, investment banking and private equity group, in 1999. He was promoted to CEO of CLSA in 2002. In 2006, he became the Chairman.
CLSA operated as a specialist Asian equity house, providing top ranked research and advice on Asian economies and companies to global investors. It was also the first foreign investment bank to be granted a domestic joint venture investment banking licence in China.

Prior to joining CLSA, Mr Morrison was an Executive Vice President and Head of Equities at Bankers Trust Australia and before that the Chief Executive Officer of Bankers Trust New Zealand.
Before joining Bankers Trust he had been the CEO of Ord Minnett New Zealand, a leading NZ broker and advisory house.
After 25 years in the Investment Banking industry, with the last 10 years at CLSA, Mr Morrison retired from CLSA in June 2009.
He is an Advisory Professor at Nankai University in Tianjin, China, and a member of the Asian Advisory Board of The Nature Conservancy, the leading conservation organisation working around the world to protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people.
He was also a member of the Copenhagen Climate Council (now disbanded), a global collaboration between business leaders, scientists and policy set up to work together for a successful new United Nations protocol to replace the 1997 Kyoto Protocol.
In 2009 he joined the board of the Asian Corporate Governance association.
